Tablet mayhem
So today on the way home from University I went to Scotsys, a local Apple affiliation store. Whilst there enquiring about how to get a hellofalot of scratches off the back off my iPod (which is apparently very easy to do), I was enquiring about a bluetooth mouse which I intend to buy. I told the clerk that I was trying to draw things on the powerbook which was really hindered by the use of the trackpad. He showed me the mouse and I got the price (£40 if your interested) and took a note of the stuff to get for the iPod. Just as I was turning to leave he said he might have something I would like…
The guy took me round to a display cabinet which he pointed out had a tablet on the cheap for only £20. £20 you say, must be shite me thinks! But still, I’ve been wanting a tablet for some time… hmmm. So I bought it and have been playing with it for the past hour. At first it is a really tricky thing to get the hang of, but once you get used to not picking the cursor up where you left it, it becomes a little easier. One thing I don’t like is that you have to lift the pen right off the tablet if you want to move the pen without moving the cursor, although I suppose this is the way it has to be done.
Anyway I was sitting pissing around for a while and this is what I came up with:
Ok, so it’s not that great, but it’s my first attempt, plus it has to have been made better by his hand and feet being removed by the government.

PS. The stuff that was recommended for cleaning the scratches off the iPod is called: Duraglit Wadding which is made by the same company as Brasso. I was told that once you are finished polishing all the marks off, you should wipe the iPod with a slightly damp cloth to remove any traces of the duraglit as it will eat through the metal. Otherwise it is apparently the best (aka cheapest) way to get rid of those pesky scratches on your iPod.
